Default How do companies account for Chinese National Holidays (Part II)?

If you source products from China, or China operates as a manufacturing base for your global supply chain, please contribute to this poll. From the people I talk with, many experience problems relating to on-time delivery/order fulfillment immediately following Chinese National Holidays. I am interested in your thoughts.

In the first round of this poll, I asked about demand planning and order scheduling prior to the October Chinese National Holidays. The response was overwhelming and interesting. In this follow-up, I am wondering about on-time delivery and lead times for orders that were placed with Chinese manufacturers between September 1, 2007 to October 15, 2007. Please indicate your company’s delivery results from your Chinese sourcing partners or manufacturers for orders placed around this time. As a note that should have been stated earlier, lead time will of course depend on the specific product, but I am interested in those that fall closest to these time frames. Thank you again for taking the time to contribute.
