Hi,

I have heard a bit about PBL. Is there any good reading on the net? Is it really just applied in the defence sector?

Kev,

Most of the stuff I have seen relates to it's use in the military logistics area. Lots of suppliers to the Military obviously have a great interest in it and there are lots of conferences on the topic, which seem to get about a 50/50 split of delegates Military/Industry.

PBL is probably a more DoD term and spreaded across the miltary aerospace industry.

You may like to search for Performance based services and performance based contracting. They are more for commercial sector.

Yes, I think you are right. All the references I can find for PBL relate to DoD.
