Just wondered how many companies these days have a position with Supply Chain at Director or General Manager level? Seems to be more common? Maybe we need a poll?

Starting to see a lot more GM titles for Supply Chain I think. Directors certainly in the larger companies.

Any one know of a company where a person has made it to the top through Supply Chain ??

Can't say I have. No I tell a lie! Cannot identify the company, but a friend of mine has held major Supply Chain roles in 3PLs and retailers, and recently took over as the CEO of a Large retail chain. Multi $Billion business. not small. Mind you, he is one of the smatest people I know!!
