Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or a bt of topic.
A friend of mine has been trying to set up a commercial website to take credit card payments. He is based in Australia. What a nightmare he's had. Wanted to set it up with prices in US dollars, so he did not look like a purely Ozzie site. No way can it be done it seems. Has to be a US based company to do so. Does anyone have experience of these types of issues? Hard if you are based in a small remote country and are trying to look 'International'. |

I think the banks are getting very careful about this stuff, as well as governments. I can understand the US dollar issue, but I would have thought there was a way to have multi currency options for payment.
