Responsibilities:

Implementation and evaluation of all supply chain logistics activities and procedures, including but not limited to production planning, material procurement, inventory control, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
Coordinate supply chain activity across all facilities
Optimize supply chain performance, including continuous improvement, innovations, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership
Develop and manage budgets for all materials operations
Implement sourcing strategies to support corporate and facility objectives, providing the company competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies and services
Develop and manage cross-functional team to understand company-wide needs and evaluate suppliers
Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement
Oversee corporate purchasing group
Participate in high level negotiations with customers and suppliers as required
Participate as a member of the executive committee


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business Management or technical related field or the equivalent experience
8 – 10 years experience in materials management within the plastics industry
Significant experience in high level leadership of administrative functions and personnel
Significant experience in negotiations with executive level representatives from customers and suppliers
Ability to reduce waste while maximizing profit potential
Extensive knowledge of resins used in production
Decision making, analytical and prioritization skills
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill
