John T. Thanks. I have been meaning to do a Board like this for ages, and was also surprised that there is little out there. I found a couple, but they tended to push specific services or points of view, and did not really use this open style of software, where it is easy to read and follow the forums and posts. I guess I finally got around to it when a friend (SCF Admin) told me he could assist in putting it together.
The Board has really only been going a few weeks, and is not even being picked up yet by the search engines etc. But we are hopeful that the word will spread quickly and that the Board will provide a real focal point for people to share information and quite honestly, ask those dumb questions we are all really wanting to ask at times. So thanks again, and help to spread the word :-) Maybe even give us a link from your own or business site if you have one. Regards Top Link |

Biz Buzz. Very easy. I have just replied to your email, but here it is agian.
Click on the forum in which you would like to ceate the thread. For example, Supply Chain Strategy. Above and below the list of current threads, is a button marker 'New Thread'. Click this. Then just fill in a title. Fill in the contents of your thread, and below the area where you type your thread, click the 'submit new thread' button. That's it :-)) Also note the FAQ tag at the top of all pages. This has many instructions on how to use the board. Welcome to Supply Chain Focus, great to have you as a member. Best Regards Top Link |

Hi top link,
"http://beta.previewseek.com/ " is the only search engine which captures your Forum. To propogate this forum. You can start a group in http:\\groups.yahoo.com And you can also became member of exisiting groups and post a link about your forum(your post will each and every member of those groups). So lakhs and lakhs members from different groups will know about "www.supplychainfocus.com". Try, definitely it'll work .You dont have to spend a single penny for this(except electricity and internet bill) 'word of mouth' is a way to market our product. And the board owner should adopt some strategies too. I'll also do my best to advertise 'supplychainfocus.com' (i'll tell about this site to all my friends) and i'll cut&paste your link in chat rooms (while i'm free). Regards, biz_buzz |

Biz Buzz,
Thanks for your suggestions. I have actually created a Yahoo Group, but I am advised that for links to be most effective, they really need to come from quality sites. That is, sites that themselves rank highly on search engines. Never an easy task!
