Hello all!
I am just entering the SC world after spending much of my professional life with a struggling start-up, and have decided to switch gears and try a new career - supply chain and logistics. I am seriously considering Seneca College's (Toronto) Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management post-diploma 8 month program. I am curious if anyone has any opinions on this program. Unfortunately, money concerns are forcing me to look at moving to Edmonton and looking for work in this field (without certification). My main concern is whether I can learn on-the-job or is it better to do the schooling? I have more questions, but I'll let you guys tackle those ones first LOL. Thanks. |

Tyler,
Always a difficult situation. IMHO, if you can, I would try to get the schooling done first. It will put you in a much better position to gain work and also to do the work effectively.

Thanks for your thoughts, Top Link. I also think getting the knowledge is best, but its still a difficult decision, money being what it is.
Does anyone have any thoughts on Seneca's program? If you don't know about that, please tell me your thoughts on any programs you yourself attended. Thanks a bunch. |
