Default Implementing an ERP system

I am in the very early stage of implementing an ERP system for 4 manufacturing sites that are supported by 2 offsite warehouse locations. Solomon is the current software that is used for account, purchasing and inventory management. I am looking at adding WO and BOM to the system to round out the reporting abilities of this software.

Does anyone have experience with Solomon that you could share with me?

I am struggling with adding the BOM to the system due to our time to manufacturing and the labor that is involved with managing the BOM.

Is there a guideline to follow for a project such as this?

Any suggestions would be welcomed at this point

Thanks
